Ok well since no one wants to hook me up it looks like I'll be in the kitchen becan weaving taco shells tonight.

I figure with the right size cookie cutter or perhaps a coffee can I can use my taco-shell forms.
Now, what do ya'll figure would work better.
Deep frying or baking?

Frying is awesome but very messy and after all it is called bacon and I get good results when I actually bake my becon.

Thinking about it, deep frying might be tough unless I do one at a time and hold it in place.

Actually I might go with baking till crispy yet still pliable and drape over a bowl till firm.
Then fill like a taco salad.

If there is a technique I'm overlooking please let me know.

BTW I am being serious here.
Not for tonight but I do want to try these this week if I have the right tools.

Man that picture really got me all riled up. I'm a drooling, babbling idiot over here.

Thanks MM

Wouldn't one need to have something to help keep that taco form when frying the becan though?

Since only one can be fried at a time I suggest setting the oven to a low temp, 150° should be sufficient.
If you also have the baking rack one you can make a bunch and keep them nice and warm while waiting to serve.

But knowing this bunch of becan-ators, like me you'll be eating one while frying the next.

Man, at this rate I'm gonna have trouble fitting into last years bikinis.
Well worth it IMO.

I wonder how many times becan/bacon has been brought up in this thread.

It has to be the most talked about subject with monkey's running a close second.

Mike?

EDIT: I actually spelled becan wrong.
How did spellcheck not catch that?
I'm so ashamed.

Ok I'm over it, carry on and enjoy your weekend everyone.

I'm not sure why, Mike, but I'm glad you didn't say something like becan with monkeys close behind.
