Does A Flock of Seagulls count?  Ok, ok...  So I'm probably the only person on here that likes them!

How about...

Al DiMeola?  I just listened to Elegant Gypsy on Tuesday.
Guthrie Govan - Plays the guitar as if it's an extension of himself.
Bozzio Levins Stevens - Wow.
Liquid Tension Experiment - More wow.
Walter Trout and Joe Bonnamassa (if you like blues).

What kind of stuff are you looking for?  I mean, there's quite a few of the usual suspects in your inquiry that I left out.

Is there ever an "expected error"?

But of course!  Whenever a redneck says "Hey!  Look at me!"  When drunks of opposite sex meet in a bar.  Whenever someone is in politics.  Whenever I play guitar.  When a rock band gets booked for a Country & Western gig.  Whenever you get a ".0" release (like version 1.0).  Whenever there's a new "X" update.  And, naturally, whenever someone posts in this fred!

Since we're sharing such personal info....

It's currently 76 F with 89% humidity here in Orlando.....much better than Trimph1's location ya?
BUT, it's going to climb up to 93 this afternoon and as always......rain is almost a daily guarantee.

Re: Change will do ya good! 2013/07/19 10:13:55 (permalink)
I expected to get one of those Expected Errors, but I didn't.  I called up support to report the unexpected error of failing to receive an expected error.  The automated attendent routed me around for several minutes.  The recording said that they were expecting my call, and then it hung up on me.

I totally saw that coming, of course.  I called back and demaned to speak to someone in Customer Service.  While I was waiting, my other phone rang again.  I hadn't expected that.  I answered it.  Meanwhile, I heard Customer Service pick up on my first phone.  I switched back to that one and said, "Hello?"  I quickly put the other phone up to my ear and told my caller that I was on the other phone and they'd just have to wait.  I turned to the first phone where some nut case had just been babbling on as though I was listening to him.  "Hey!" I said loudly.  "I've got someone else on the other line.  Hold on."   I held both phones to my head and the resulting feedback loop singed my temples

While I had expected that, I did not expect that the scorch marks would not be even.  I spent half the morning trying to even them up with an iron.

Come to think of it, it is hot today.  I wouldn't have expected that in July.

On a seperate note.....it seems like Scooter's relatives all work in the Customer Service fields.
