That was my Christmas gift to my roommate since I already owned it, it was still unopened and I still owed him rent. I figured it would probably have been inappropriate to buy him something using potential rent money... I hope he shares once he opens it!

'Tis why I live in the Pacific Northwest.  Reminds me a lot of the places in Europe that I visited.  I can't stand desert locations which is what most of California actually is (six of the top ten driest cities are in California).

Yuppers! But Corryvrecken certainly isn't for everybody. One reviewer upon opening a bottle described the initial aroma as reminiscent of "iodine and Band-Aids!"
Guess it was a little too peaty for him.

BTW, I got a hold of Synkrotron and he's doing well.......he's not concentrating on music at the moment and has been playing a computer game/radio controlled cars......he said he should pop in sometime and say hi (he said more, but that's the gist of it).

Somehow the Gandhi one reminds me of this; possibly the most disturbing music video I've ever seen.  One could make a good argument for Chris Cunningham and Richard James/Aphex Twin being banned from ever working together again based on this.  It's brilliant, but it makes my skin crawl a bit.

Sorry to have made you go out of your way Ed, but I place the blame firmly with my PC!  It decided to die Thursday night with a steady stream of BSOD's that nothing I tried could change until late tonight (Saturday).  I'm not confident that it's fully fixed, in fact, I think possibly the motherboard is slowly failing (and, naturally, I can't afford a new one yet), so I guess I'll need to baby it for a while.
