It's been over 30 degrees centigrade here today in Norway It went from 13 to 30 overnight yesterday.

Well, if it's any consolation........the temp is 34 degrees centigrade over here in Florida. Due to the humidity, it feels  like 40 degrees. (oh yeah, it's also hurricane season over here)
 
Now, all I need is a drum set.....

Dayum!  Mother Nature obviously does NOT like me!  My move this weekend now has a new forecast...  100 degrees on Saturday, and 101 on Sunday and these forecasts keep going up! 
 
No wonder I have so many friends saying they won't be able to help.  I don't blame them!  
 
I just finished a six-hour stretch of prepping where I went through box after box that used to be in storage to see what needed to be re-stored, taken with me, thrown out or given away.  Most were full of books and some training videos.  I can't believe how many music-related books and videos I have!  Now I really want to get back to making music, but I doubt there will be room enough for me (even though the owner has played for decades and has some really cool gear like a 60's Strat, a 60's SG, some other guitars with a Blackstar amp & cab).
 
Oh well, maybe that will be motivation for me to find some decent income again!  GAS will build for sure. 

I'd go for making the owner be your significant other.

After finishing a graph paper rendition of my "new" bedroom and moving cut-out pieces of my stuff (bed, PC, etc.), I doubt I'll be there long.  Nothing fits!  Should have measured the room before deciding it was the place to move in to (not that I had other choices for now, but...).
Not happy about all of this... 
 
Because I'll have to get a storage unit again, I'm about to be paying $95 more per month for 50 sq. ft. less of bedroom area and almost 120 sq. ft. less of storage space!  (40 sq. ft. after including the storage unit.) Oh yeah, and no TV at the new place either.  What was I thinking???

Working hard having a day outside, so I thought I'd share my lunch view today.
Just had some fruit salat. I thought that was appropriate for a nut like me 
 
 

*Ugh..*  Two days in a row with only six hours of sleep after working late (3:30am and 2:30am last night).
 
STILL not fully prepped!  Maybe the shower after I finish breakfast will help get me going for the BIG day...  My latest "Plan B" (which is probably somewhere around Plan Q by now) is to breakdown and keep the moving van for a second day so I'm not running too much in the 101+ degree heat.  This new place better have their WiFi already up and working or I'm not going to be happy!  (Or any of the other dwarfs except maybe Grumpy.)
 
Two days (so far) of 16+ hours of work and, how much do you want to bet, after one or two more I still won't have lost any weight?   At least the back and knees are proving to be in the best shape they've been for years - loving that!

Oh yeah, during all of the "rediscoveries" while opening boxes previously stored to see what could be combined, given away or tossed I was surprised to see how much music-related items I still have!  Apparently I never did sell my Alesis MK-1 Actives (cool!).  I've got a rolling set of plastic drawers with all sorts of guitar maintenance and accessories (like slides, picks, strings and weighted practice things you put on your fingers, etc.).  My song notes were in there too.  I also have a big plastic bin with a guitar stand, small MIDI keyboard, straps, cables, a few stomps I couldn't part with, etc.
 
Then there are two BIG boxes stuffed with books and videos (studio building, mixing, song writing, tab books, Grimoire books, all the usual chord and fingering books, plus others like how to play the mandolin or harmonica).  LOTS of stuff!  Then, in a third box, we've got all of the software and manuals (plus SONAR Power books).  Unfortunately, I still haven't noticed my Waves Gold or Platinum boxes.  I hope those didn't get lost in the shuffle!
 
So, I guess there's still hope of returning to music making!
