What do you say drew on an FSF colab?
(of course, I have no idea what we are going to do, but you know.....great minds......or was that fools seldom differ? )

Since we already hab Am bass player and generally "dueling basses" is unnecessary, I could probably only offer a more textural approach on bass or something that fits between the cracks*, depending on the tune. Of course I hab lots of toys capable of producing interesting (and potentially musical) little noises on any number of instruments in pretty much any frequency range from drones to finger cymbals (if I can find them).

Do we have a monkey drum player yet? I have one of these:

I'm not sure about a drummer (Zargg (Ken) you play the drums roooight?)......I can't see that pic you posted (at work).....is it drum software (or is it a monkey banging on cymbals :)) ?)

So far (from the little I know about everyone here):

HamNEgz - Keys
Drew - Bass + lots of toys
Bapu - Bass and then some
Ken - Vocals?/Drums?/Guitar?
James - Guitar +_________?
Me - lead guitar

Of course, Juan of you (experienced) guys will have to be the producer......

Here's a picture of my "rhythmic frog". You drag the stick across its back to make a "ribbit" sound, or strike it for rhythm.

My brother brought me this from Brasil

well we could use sum loopz or midi patterns and a drum vst,

its been a while since i did a collaboration and we used sum kinda file share/drop box  to move the file about
there is supposedly some kind of live collaboration software out now but dont know enough about it

maybe before all of this pick a cover to do and agree on it

A "monkey drum" is probably something you have seen (perhaps as a kid) but don't remember or didn't know the name.

It's sort of a little 2 sided drum on a popsicle stick with 2 little strings with beads on each side so that if you turn the stick the beads beat the drum heads.

I have quite a few percussion toys* (it was a phase), but I don't have a frog.

*Technically I suppose many of them are not toys. At least not according to percussion players.

agree on something Ken would feel good with, Ill start thinking about possible tunes and probably PM him and we can exchange thoughts on the tune and keys.

I have no qualms with Bapus ears and hands being the producer

I guess the version we do will be the thing so on second thought a scratch version might "lock it in" too much unless its real simples, I am thinking the rhythm tracks first skratch vokals then the icing with keys/guitars/vuvelza/ BU vokals

Ill listen to the utube  that was posted to get an idea
