It actually looks vile TBH.  The headstock, logo, pickguard and colour all conspiring to make it look like some taiwanese non-brand sub $200 clunker.

But I'm sure it's looks belie it's capabilities.

And besides I've got so used to seeing Michael's master works by now I'm sure I've become very spoiled when it comes to aesthetics.

"Even though music games have been wildly popular for years now, there are still the party poopers who shake their heads, fold their arms, and say, "Why not just play a real guitar?" Well, now those naysayers don't have much of an argument, because Rock Band 3 does have a real guitar. The Fender Squier Stratocaster guitar controller is a fully-functioning six-string instrument that can be used both with the game and with an amplifier."

I agree. I chose the body style & color for that exact reason. No one will EVER want to steal it. Actually I lurves me the color vs the black or candy-apple red). The essential works comes in three body styles (call them: Tele, BC Rich and the Strat style I chose).

A guitar like this is just about the modeling (and play-ability too).

Oh, did I mention I got a GREAT deal on it too.

I love that color too.  Just wondering tho why you didn't opt for the 59 which actually looks like a...you know...real guitar?

Remember me asking about one of these awhile back. I talked myself out of it and cancelled. Two months ago I talked myself back into it again and re-placed my order. I ordered the candy apple red one.

As far as looks go, some guitar players don't like the neck and logo. FWIW the neck can be replaced with a Warmoth one. I don't plan to do that. I  like the appearance of the guitar and even if I didn't, the capability to sound like a whole collection of guitars  will make me overlook a lot.Add to that alternate tunings and acoustic sounds and I'm there.

A lot of Gibson lovers are getting the 59 which looks just like a nice Gibson and has the same capability as the JTV 69. They have had a few problems with the 59 though.

Bapu I guess you went with the USA model. Don't blame you a bit. I ordered the Korean model. I figure I can add nice tuners to it later. The fit and finish of the Korean ones seems to have improved. If I had the cash I would have bought the USA version. No difference in electronics between the two.
