Where is (the) Bapu when you need him?

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Historians look back on this time period and struggle to find answers.  With all of their technology, how did they fail to see the signs?  Didn't they listen?  The evidence was everywhere.

If they had only paid attention, could they have avoided "The Bapu Incident?"  Was it, as some historians claim, the inevitable outcome of humanity's descent into chaos?  All we know for sure is that the Cakewalk forum software rejected one too many posts by Bapu.  In his frustration and despair, he did the unthinkable.  He called in a favor from Bing the Berciless.

Only a small remnant survived the ensuing devastation.  Rebuilding some semblance of society took several lifetimes.  "Next time," the survivors fervently promised one another.  "Next time, we'll make sure Bapu's daily post limit is much higher.  Also, we'll put out more Asparapuss Chow."

What a conundrum!  To continue posting with multiple accounts or to not lose those additional post counts...
