Bark of the dog dump?
I wanted to see what bark of the dog was and when I put it on a prochannel, the entire song started stuttering, then gave the errror "SONAR stopped working." and shut down. Thanks, Greg

Seems to be causing some issues. This happens sometimes with new modules... especially third party ones. I'm sure it will be patched if enough people report it.

I was just playing around with Bark of the Dog in the PRO Channel./ It works well for me. When I get stuttering and the sound engine stops I normally find that I pressed the system too much. In the control panel pull up the Performance mod and see if core 1 is High or if it goes into the red when you play. If it does you can go into ASIO and increase the buffer size. I always overload my system. I normally only run required effects while recording with ASIO around 64-92. When I mix, I turn on everything and set ASIO to 4096 because latency doesn't matter when you are only using playback.

Theoretically it's just a resonant high pass filter so it shouldn't use too much juice.

Maybe there's some kind of code loop going on dragging things down. I'm not a programmer though so that is a very uneducated guess.

I have only dropped into individual track Pro Channels, but it works. Beautifully on drums, I must say.

It's a nice partner for the +10db, that lacks shelving filters

Where in the Pro Channel should this be placed? After compressors? Before or after the Console Emulator? Any suggestions?

depends ... if you just use it as low cut with settings for no or little resonance (amplitude <=0 ) I'd put it early in the chain ... if you use it to color your sound with resonance at the low cut (which is what it was actually made for) you can place it anywhere in the chain (depending on what FX you have before and after) ... i know this is a fairly general answer, but i think it's totally up to your purpose and your ears
