Batman Rises

 I just got home from a midnight showing of Batman Rises.Its the best Batman movie yet.The story is good and mostly stays true to the comicbook stories with a few twists and turns thrown in.The ending was interesting and cool and gives you something to think about..............................Hint;) at the end somebody new finds the Bat cave.

I hope Cat Woman is done FAR better than Halle Berry did it!  

  She was.She is never refered to as Cat Woman in the movie,the only time it looks like she has "cat ears" is when she has her goggles up on top of her head.There is never a real obvious reference to her being Cat Woman but,everyone knows thats who she is.

Like I said,its the best Batman movie yet.I think its the best one ever.My favorite part of the movie is the last 15 minutes or so,the ending is great and leaves some possible hints.

+1  So far 12 confirmed dead and 38 injured as of 8:15AM EST.  Very sad.

It sounds like the movie is worthwhile.  I'll be seeing it soon.  

I'm glad to hear that a suspect is in custody.  My deepest sympathy to the victims and survivors.  

You know, it's really sad that we can't even go
to the movies, or a concert, or sporting event
without having to worry about someone doing

We have to worry about crazies, loonies, terrorists, and
our crazy Government...

I feel sorry for our children...they are inheriting a mess...

I just woke up and saw the story about the shooting.How sad.

Well,in this movie they don't play up the "cat" thing at all.Salina Kyle(Anne Hathaway) is referd to as a cat burgler and thats about it.In Batman Rises Salina Kyle ends up being an ally to Batman.Christopher Nolan doesn't use any of the campiness of the original Batman movies or tv show ,he just uses the stories from the comic books and tv shows.

They just reported that the shooters guns were unregistered.

There were kids at this midnight premier. A 9yo girl was shot and they just reported that a 6yo girl died.
 
There is going to be a lot more to this story once they figure out the motive of the shooter.
 
Rotten Tomatoes, a movie review website, had to shut down its Batman comments section yesterday because some pro reviewers posted negative reviews. They were getting death and even rape threats.
 
Bane has been a villian for many years and as Paul Harvey used to say, "and now for the rest of the story"... but we will have to wait on that. We will get it though, because this story is so big. Those who try to spin it early on will no doubt eat their words.
 
It is tragic and frightening. My heart goes out to a the people who have been hurt by this. What horror.

Maybe because it was sold out? I have no idea how a person is able to do something so horrific.  I can understand why one might try to kill a mortal enemy but strangers, in the dark... it is just mass murder. He booby trapped his apartment too.  We will never understand this kind of thing, not really. IMO. Some things are unacceptable and inexplicable.

Colorado has the death penalty, I hope they use it in this case.
 
Also... how does a movie with this much graphic violence get a PG-13 rating? That disturbs me. It also disturbs me that young children were there, even a 4 month old baby... what?

 There were county sherrifs at my theater last night.When ever a highly anticipated movie opens at the theater I go to,there are some county sherrifs and city police outside and inside the theater.
