Batterry 3 is leaking Cymbals all over my project

I have a project set up with midi clips triggering battery 3 channels.
I have loop points set in my project so I can work on a particular section.

Now every thing is fine so far.

When the projects enters the loop for the second time, suddenly Cymbals appear from nowhere on the first and second beat. They keep repeating this pattern for ever.
IT GOES: CRASH CRASH rest rest CRASH CRAH rest rest, ad infinitum.

They come from nowhere, because I do not use Cymbals nor have clips that do anything with Cymbals.

It gets worse. When I stop the project, the cymbals continue.

When I stop the audio engine, the cymbalpattern disappears. When I start the audio engine the cymbals are back again. NOT EVEN PLAYING THE PROJECT.
I have to close the project to get rid of these freakin poltercymbals.

The cymbals come from Battery3, because when I mute battery they disappear, however they don't show on the  battery 3 master meter. Somehow they stay under the radar.

Anyone any idea?

BTW: I had this since X1 through X1a, X1b and hotfix and I of course updated battery 3.
I even disconnected my controller to make sure.
