Battery and custom drum maps routing

Okay, I feel really stupid now, but here is my problem. I created a Kit in Battery (Kick1 on C1, Kick2 on c#1, Snare on d1, Hihat Closed on d#1 and closed hihat on e1) from my waves and routed the two kicks to 3/4 stereo out from Battery, snare on 5/6 and hihats on 7/8. So in Sonar, I have a midi track with Omni midi input played from my midi keyboard, output of this midi track is routed into Battery and Battery above mentioned way to three separate audio tracks. Now comes the tricky part. When I focus the audio track for kick and play a note c1 for kick (or hit the corresponding cell in Battery), it plays fine, snare plays fine (in the second audio track) and hihats as well (in the third audio track). However, when I put midi notes in the midi track to the same notes, I hear no sound, even if I see the meter in the midi track going up. So the midi track is somehow wrongly connected with the Battery. The Battery plugin was created using the options "source midi track" "Use All Stereo Audio tracks" and "Use Synth Folder". So that should connect it fine, right? What might be wrong? Initially I wanted to use drum maps, but since I had the same problem, I decided I will simplify the things by just using piano roll and midi notes, but that doesn't work either. I have checked threads here about drum maps, but they are not talking much about the routing. I feel it should be dead easy - midi input - output into Battery - output to audio track and that into Master. But I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. Later today I will try to post a screen where you Could see a little of what I am trying to describe here.

I expect you have the MIDI octave wrong. http://forum.cakewalk.com...igh=&m=2579254&mpage=1
