Bayou Bill Is Alive and well 8/23/16

I just got off the phone with Bill and he asked me to relay that he is OK but he has no internet access at this time so he cannot check in.
Hes been helping his sister at their camp ground which was a total loss.
His voice is back and it was good to hear him speak.
 
Hopefully he will get some access somehow and check in.

Speaking of crocs, not the shoe kind, some flood victims are having those critters along with snakes and the like, as unwanted visitors

I have an aunt and two cousins right down there in the middle of it. Water within feet of their homes and their cities are under, but somehow they are just a tiny bit out of reach. Lots of their neighbors and friends not so lucky... :(

Much rain today so clean up comes to a halt. This is exhausting work and we all need a break. I got my pc hooked up and I think all is well again.  I could use a shower and Becan! 
Have I missed anything? What and who is the latest gossip? Is there a forum monkey colab? Are Gs in Am?

Now that we know you're still alive, how did your house and gear survive?  Any casualties?

Sadly Ham N Egz lost a lot of equipment and property. There is so much work to do to clean up.  I didn't loose anything. I live alone in my man cave/DAW room with Becan, pizza, coffee, gumbo, and BBQ in the frigerator. I took all my stuff out to higher ground. I can get everything in my vehicle I need. The apartment got water in the doorway/carpet and nothing else. I dried everything with fans and now it's fine. Everyone works helping out who needs it every day. All the days are the same cept like today when too much rain put a stop for a while. No ones talking that much but considering things are going OK. We all know what needs to be done. We've been through it before. I think I'll up load the Sept upgrade today. Then lunch!
