Be sure to look at the moon tomorrow night...

It's a so-called "supermoon", meaning a full moon at perigee. Doesn't happen often, but this occurrence is especially noteworthy because it's the closest the moon has been since 1948, some 30,000 km closer than average. The next one will be in 2034, so for many of us this is literally a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Shakespear (Othello):

It is the very error of the moon,
She comes more nearer earth than she was wont
And makes men mad.

Well, at least that might explain last Tuesday.

However big it was last night, it was completely hidden behind the clouds for us...  Figures.

Tonight is our last chance, but the forecast is more of the same!

Hi,

Will there be a dark side?

I'll put on CAMEL instead, then!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Re: Be sure to look at the moon tomorrow night... 2016/11/15 09:36:16 (permalink)
I've been watching it.
I thought it was much like an E7 #9  (or Hendrix chord for those wondering)

It's been very clear to see- the moon
It's been very clear to hear- the chord

Cool knowing the info about the moon although I'm not sure why.
Cool knowing that the chord has both major and minor 3rd's in it although I think I know why.

So I guess the sun is like a minor major 7th chords to me.
- I don't think I want to keep thinking of chords this way.

The Lovely Lady and I kissed under the Super Moon.

And vowed to do it again next time.
