Beagle's Becan - The Coffee House song. ;)

ok,  I'm gonna come clean,  Bill was right all along.

He has been in a secret colab for the past few weeks, joined recently by Scott (Mr. Tunes).  So I want to give a big thank you to both of them for their contribution to the following offering.

I don't know what gave me the inspiration, or even if the effort was even worth it, but something in the CH a few months ago set a spark in my imagination and here's the result.

Beagle's Becan

Guitar break by Bill of the bayou
Violin solo by Scottytunes

The Beagle went down to the Coffee House, he was looking for Becan to steal.
He'd been on a diet, was about to riot: he was ready for a proper meal.
when he came across this old girl shakin' a frying pan and it was hot.
And the Beagle jumped up on a kitchen chair and said; "Girl let me tell you what:
"I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a master in the kitchen
"and I've got so high on grits and rye my paws just won't stop itchin'
"Now that looks pretty good Becan, girl, I'll tell ya what I'm gonna do:
"I bet your soul 'gainst a Cowbell of gold that I can eat more than you."
The girl said "My name's Karyn and my appetites alarming
"and if you try to take this becan from me you'll find I'm less than charming."

Karyn fetch your favorite sticks and hit that cowbell hard.
'Cos Beagles in the kitchen when he should be in the yard.
And if you win you get this shiny cowbell made of gold.
But if you lose, the Becans got to go.
-------------------
So Beagle sat and scratched his ear while eyeing up the fridge door.
And fire flew from his rear end as he shot across the floor
And he threw some Becan in a pan and it made an evil hiss.
Then all the Coffee House Band joined in and it sounded something like this.
-----------------
When the Beagle finished, Karyn said: "Well you're pretty good for a dog.
"Now pass that fryin' pan over here and I'll show you how to cook hog."
Spam in the forum, run boys, run.
Propping up the bar in the Megaton Sun.
Spacey in the back room, tappin' in frets
"Have you paid your Bouy tax?" "No, not yet"
-----------------
The Beagle stopped his chewing 'cos he knew then he'd been beat.
and said "Now pass that Spotted Dick, this here's just too much meat."
Karyn said "Now come here pup, and don't you be so silly"
She rolled him over on to his back and tickled his big furry belly
Spam in the forum, run boys, run.
Propping up the bar in the Megaton Sun.
Spacey in the back room, tappin' in frets
"Have you paid your Bouy tax?" "No, not yet"

I did respond on the other thread, so that will cost double of course. (I'll have to work out the exchange rate from Lincolnshire Groats to JBPounds first)

Bill doesn't get an honourable mention because he is one...

    Good fun choon...

That definitely made my day!  I was laughing the whole way through (and definitely downloaded the .wav to add to my collection of fine internet material).

Excellent covering of the original music, creative replacement lyrics and some hot playing there!

That said, I'm thinking that it just might need a bit more cowbell becan though...
