Beatles Tribute - featuring Daryl1968

They would not have played this song 50 years ago today and certainly not quite this way.

Not too radical departure from the original.

Everyone has a favourite Beatles song and this is one of mine. Good job, particularly liked the way the drums drove the song, Ringo would be proud.

Yikes!  There's a lot of square waves in the mix.  You nailed the tom roll that Ringo did.  I liked the tamborine playing also.  Sounds like you had fun.

The Bridge at 2:15 ... the bass should be played with a "bounce feel" Like McCartney does it rather than the straight feel. But that just a personal preference it doesn't sound bad with the straight feel.

You're getting better at using pitch correction but John Lennon sang the lead way better than you did. I do think the vocals are better than what a Bob Dylan cover of the song would sound like so you got that going for you. That's a +1

The overall mix is very good. Sound like the Nashville Kit in Superior??? It's one of my favs for sure.

Your mixes have a personal finger print now. You can tell a "Bapu" mix. That's a good thing when musicians can pick out an instrumentalist style with out seeing who the musician as a player is or who the engineer is as a mixer.... or a producer as a producer ect......

You're mixes are always above average and this one isn't an exception to what you've been mixing.

    Good Job.

Nice cover! Liked the vox sound and a good mix overall. The tambourine sounds a bit stiff to me?

On of my favourite Lennon & McCartney songs. I am also impressed how you managed that lagging Ringo drum rythm. Nice! Also the harmony Paul does, it's pretty high pitched. Well done!

One of my all time favorite songs, and this certainly does it justice!  I would only suggest that you bring the lead guitar up a few notches, and this will be a quasi masterpiece.

    Wow, I REALLY enjoyed this!
Never have commented on a tambourine part before but it seemed to really drive the bridge, well done.
Vocals were well done. Also liked the way you captured the "Ringo feel" on the drums.
Mix was well done, has that "all faders all the way up" sound of their early recordings.
I'm such a big Beatles fan that covers of their tunes usually leave me cold but I really liked this.
Did I mention that I really liked it?
