Beatles on Spotify from Dec 24th
And also Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal, Amazon Prime, Slacker, Groove, Rhapsody and Deezer. I might actually give them a listen, see what all the fuss is about

The Beatles? Are they some new band? With a name like that I doubt they'll go far...

...and now the world will end. I just got my first of the new re-mastered Beatles cds. A shiney new copy of Revolver for my birthday. I love my wife! I was playing it at work and it's just remarkable how good that 49 year old album sounded. Old George Martin knew what he was doing. Now on my wish list is... Rubber Soul Abbey Road Sgt. Pepper White Album

I have the "Apple" with the thumb drive; mp3's and flac files. I don't know if Sir Paul requested "juke box hot" on the mastering, but The Beatles are consistently the loudest tunes on my wife's phone. Revolver, to my ear, is maybe their "best" effort. Of course it has Taxman, my favorite all time Beatle tune, and Tomorrow Never Knows. Tom

Hi, Hahaha ... a bit late ... back in 1974, the radio station in Santa Barbara used to do all Beatles on Christmas Day and all Rolling Stones on New Year. It was a tradition for KTYD
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Yeah, Revolver, Rubber Soul and Abbey Road are IMHO 3 of the best sounding albums ever made.

Listening to those old Beatles songs they're like the pop equivalent of jazz standards. I often wonder to what degree they were "lucky" in that those tunes were there for the writing. It feels like there aren't any iconic melodies left.

Good day today. My Mom made me a Beatles quilt for christmas. My wife got me a Beatles calender and Jeff Beck's Live +cd. It's a little family tradition that we open gifts on Christmas eve. Hope you all have a very Beatle Christmas as well.
