Beatscape Slice Editing Freezes Computer...

Hey, I just installed Sonar 8.5 Producer 64 bit a little while ago. It came with Beatscape and once I installed it and launched the VST, everything was ok. However, as soon as I moved around/deleted some of the slices in the patterns and then pressed Ctrl + S/ Save, Sonar froze and wouldn't resume running. Whatever I was working on got lost and I couldn't recover it. Some advice on how to fix that would be nice. Note that Beatscape does work, just the slice editing is giving me problems.

Specs 
Windows Vista 64 bit
Sonar 8.5 Producer
4gb RAM 
500gb HDD
2.66 Ghz Intel QC

    I have the same problem.  Whenever I try to save changes I've made in the Beatscape using the slice editor, Sonar crashes.  I have to restart Sonar to get it running again.  Sorry I don't have any helpful advice.  If Cakewalk could repair this with a new bug fix in an update that would be awesome.
