Beatscape track template debug assert !
Does anyone else get this? Open Sonar 8 PE - Close the Quick Start dialog (if enabled) Ctrl+N to generate a new file with the default 'normal' template Right click in track view to insert new track from template.. In my list I see Instruments / BeatScape / BeatScape - Hip With Mod... Select that one. Sonar comes back with : Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library -------------------------------------------- Assertion failed! Program: ... File: ..\Synth\SynthUtils.cpp Line: 424 Expression: -1 == iErr For information on how your program can cause an exception..... blah blah blah.... I don't know if this is just a bad template, or if its a problem with the template code in Sonar or an issue in BeatScape.. Interested if anyone else sees this.. I will send in a problem report anyway.. On the side its interesting that code with debug features enabled is getting shipped... There may be more scope for performance improvements if the debug code is disabled !

I get a similiar error message and Sonar closes on that one. It hasn't happened recently but I put it down to the fact that I don't click on it.

Hello, Thanks, we're aware of the problem. I suggest not using the Hip With Mod template for now.

ORIGINAL: Brian Desmond Hello, Thanks, we're aware of the problem. I suggest not using the Hip With Mod template for now. Huh? How come you don't have the [Cakewalk] label?
