Email notifications have been sporadic at best for the past year or two, at least for me, so I'm not sure that's related to the forums ending. Maybe.

I think the now total lack of email notifications (which almost always worked for me) is tied directly to the transferring of the backend server content, which I assume is now underway.
Just a guess on my part.

If there's going to be any transferring of old website content to a new website, I don't see how that would have any effect with the functioning of the current forums. They'd just be copying material from one server to another. They surely wouldn't delete anything until the new website if up and running.
Oh well, no never mind for me. Some idiot who thought he was a guitar repairman completely screwed my Godin yesterday. I'm thinking of selling everything and getting out of music. Maybe it's a sign. There are lots of other hobbies. I was never much good at this one.
