Behringer Ultragain pro 8 Question

Hey this might be a dumb question but i have the M16DX and it only has 4 trim pots on it . Will the Ultragain act as 8 more pres if i run through that then into the M16DX?

    the ultragain will provide 8 preamps for microphones that you can plug into LINE inputs of the M16DX.  so I think the answer to your question is YES - I'm just not positive what you're saying about the trim pots.

    Thanks Beagle, What i meant is... I used the m16dx for recording a small festival last year ..but i could only get a strong signal from the 4 channels that had trim pots(pre-amps). I had no way of turning the gain up on the rest of the channels that were fed off the snake.

    just be careful with your gain staging.  you don't want to overdrive the mixer.

    Will be careful thank Reece...I just picked up the Ultragain today got it for a whole $79 canadian...Can`t wait to use it in two weeks at this years festival.
