    sad, disappointing, geez. As a friend commented this morning, what happens at the watering hole when there are nothing but 800 pound gorillas?

    I prefer to be optimistic and wait for the smaller companies that remain under the radar now to come into market.

    IMO, It's not all bad.
    Behringer bought Midas... and Midas is (still) putting out some nice gear.
    As a side benefit, Behringer released the X32 series (which incorporates a lot of Midas technology) at very reasonable cost.  Without the Midas input, the X32 would not be the same console.

    Well this makes me hope for 2 things - 3 actually.
    1. That my TC products will still have service options, should they ever need it;
    2. That Music Group/TC Group will finally convince TC Electronics to consider resuming the development of their much beloved and ultra-excellent 'Fabrik R' Reverb which was left behind in their 32 bit plug in domain, despite countless requests to port it over to 64 bit versions.

    It is truly the best reverb I've ever used and ever heard for that matter;

    3. That Behringer might shake their questionable reputation by finally producing some better quality products, although that really doesn't matter that much to me.
    I lost money on one of their crappy products years ago, and luckily haven't bought another since.

    But I do hope this for others, and IF TC does put the aforementioned 'Fabrik R' Reverb plans back on track, I would be tempted to buy a Behringer product once again, if included.
