Benford Custom Guitar...cheap.

A close friend of mine had to have minor surgery recently and, yup, no health insurance. He's a long time gear nut and is now selling a few pieces to offset his bills. One item is a custom built Benford strat in silver sparkle finish...tres fab. You can take look at it about midway down the "special orders" section at www.benfordguitars.com

Plus you can check out Benfords stuff in general. I think he's looking for about $800 smackers.

    $800 for a custom guitar?  Dayum...  Usually there's one more zero in there (most customs are in the $4,000 to $8,000 range).

    Apparently with this guy there's custom and then there's CUSTOM!!!!! You can actually get a fairly nice "assembled" custom for reasonable geetus. All the way up to a complete hand built one of a kind thingy for several large. I think my pal paid around $1400. Another buddy (my best pal) is putting it on eBay for him.


    EDIT...I just talked with my pal directly and he paid more like $1100. And he'd take $750.
