Rondo?

I was a Sam Ass guy ... first the Paramus then the Edison store.  But, I think my Peavey PA cabinets were purchased at Rondo.  I do know that I replaced the Scorpions w/ Black Widows and I bought the Widows at Rondo.

Did he drop the Starting Bid price? Currently at $700.00. I thought it was something like $45,000 yesterday.

Where is, and what type of battery does it use?

Yeah, that's the place.  They had one in Edison?  That must have been after I moved west.

Yes, it was like 40 some odd thousand dollars yesterday, and you will have to buy the rights to the intellectual property (or lack thereof) for 47 bucks to determine what type battery he is using.

I don't know about headphone amps and schematics, the seller could do with a decent currency converter methinks.

I posted the link elsewhere and one guy, a builder of pedals and such, commented that it's interesting how there doesn't seem to be a power supply and that it looks like the potentiameter goes directly into a tube...  Heh.

It's too bad you have to purchase separate units for each of the 4 amp models. At least that is how I interpret the product description (each one has unique analog circuitry for sound modeling). Seems like with today's modeling software they could produce a large variety of sounds within a single unit.

They seem nice though if sound privacy is an issue.

And wireless Bluetooth would be nice also.

Yikes!  I think I'd rather spend that kind of money on a new car.

Where did you see a new car for $700? I'd buy that if I can find one.

I think the original starting bid was for $45K.  The guy eventually came to his senses and lowered the starting bid.

His Buy It Now was $70,000 (or about the cost of an Alembic - so I've heard).
