Best I Ever Had
"Best I Ever Had" http://youtu.be/-bYBLPHy4M8 I am considering using this track on a follow-up to my first album "Blues You Could Use" What do you think ? Any and all feedback is appreciated, and as always, I will try to reciprocate... I just uploaded this tune to SoundCloud... "Best I Ever Had" http://soundcloud.com/franktanton/best-i-ever-had

Awesome, Frank, this is the real roadhouse blues done to perfection. You can just tell when somebody's lived it.

Norton Buffalo would have loved it, and so do I. What's your signal path on the bass? I'm poised to buy a bass preamp. Cool stuff. Hot guitar, love it. Daryl

I don't care that she didn't care... doesn't bother me... not one bit... I've had better... I'm ok now... Thanks Lynn

Where's the jam at? Well, the song is smooth sounding and moves right along. I would like a bit more dynamics just here and there in certain beats though.

I'm a big fan of Norton's... I use a SansAmp Bass Driver DI and an old Ampeg Rocket Amp... I usually split the signal with the SansAmp and feed directly into the Board, and into the Ampeg which I Mic with an SM-57...

It's got that classic old time blues feel which makes it great. Love the harmonica. just adds to the character of the song.

Now this sounds good! What a nice piece of music at friday night. I like the swing! Whoever handles the harmonica does it well! I also play harmonica but have not found the nice sound you got, in any of my recordings. Great jam!

Sounds great. Does the genre justice. Heard one of your previous songs not long ago, with a girl singer I believe. Didn't comment then but it was one of the best I've heard on this forum. Really great. Did a search but didn't see it.
