Best VST eq and why?

The reason I ask is because the Khaerjus EQ classic seems like too little sliders, like higher resolution, any U recommend?
Keep it free.

thanks

Try the NyquistEQ, it is free and [apparently] very high quality. Of course, if you have S4PE then you have access to the Sonitus EQ, which will more than cover your needs...

Nyquist EQ is quite possibly my favourite.
Very flexible eq with a great graphic interface and good clean output.
Infact I love pretty much anything the SmartElectronix guys seem too throw out.
Anybody here use DMI's "Foorius" - simply killer FM synth BTW.
I would also suggest going to KVR audio and doing a search for GVST (they have a suite of very good comp's / gates / limiters / eq's / delays / filters plugs etc that work exceptionally well.
