Best keyboard controller?

I'm looking for a top of the line controller.

I would like at least 61 semi-weighted keys, and comprehensive transport and input controls for X1 Producer and multiple soft synths...

Right now I'm leaning towards the Cakewalk A-800, but I would like to hear about other user experiences or preferences, esp. Novation, MAudio, Akai....

Thx,
Vernon

A-800 is probably your best way to go- it is the one I want as well-

It integrates better than any other with Sonar-

I own 3 novation things, a launchpad , nocturn and sl25 mk 2.. the build quality of my sl25 mk 2 has been an issue for me, first one had wonky keys.. got a replacement.... and well the pads underneath came off.. the pitch bend/mod wheel tip is loose.. and I might add I don't gig!! . Looks nice, but the build quality / quality control has made me REALLY think about not buying anything more keyboard wise from them.

they don't go mad to support sonar properly and well it's sadly put me off their products.. I have a focusrite saffire 6 which I like, same company..

m-audio axiom , built quality I like but I found it fiddly to set up..

I would go with the roland, if you really use sonar as your mainly thing.. but it'll work pretty well elsewhere I'm sure.

    Thx.
I do like the layout of the A-800. Could be the one...
