Best sites for posting music to...

Looking for advice on the best sites to post original tunes to. Ones that also allow folks to pay for and download tunes. Also having low fees would be nice [;] and most importantly ones that take copyright protection seriously!

Thanks

thanks Mesh, yeah I have a Soundcloud account, but I guess I was looking for something a little more substantial in terms of selling (hahaha) tunes that folks actually liked, and one where I could create a nice profile or direct links to FB...maybe you're correct and Soundcloud is about the best for what I need, IDK

I had my own site for a couple of years using 'Bandzoogle'. I liked it a lot, very easy to set up, plenty of decent templates, the ability to sell your stuff in various formats. You get your own '.com' too. It was around $10 a month.

Other people I've seen use 'Bandcamp' which seems to work well with FB.

I use bandzoogle, I think it's $15 a month for my deal, and it's great - EXCEPT for the fact that their music players don't have volume controls on them, and they are not willing to discuss the matter. On that point they are dead wrong, but otherwise they have the best templates and easiest design widgets in my opinion.

    cheers,

I'm no longer a fan of PreSonus, but the Nimbit website is really geared towards the entire music delivery experience. They do a good job.

Would I use them for physical distribution? No. I'd stick with CD Baby, but for the rest...pretty good.
