Best way to merge to songs

I am making a medly of 2 songs. I need all the tracks from both separate songs into one song.what is the best way to get all the track including fx and volume lines into another project.  Can I just drag a track from one project to another project? if so how

    Yes, open both projects and drag the tracks from one project to the other. If you cannot open more than one project at a time go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced and uncheck "Allow Only One Open Project at a Time"

    Thanks, but I would like to drage the whole track including fx. not just the clips within the track. So far I can not find anything to click and drag on other than a clip

    You can freeze the track then copy
    or copy the track, then the fx
    or save the track as a template, load the template in the other project then copy the audio
