Better Tempo Box (and other boxes)... Urgently, if you don't mind.

I'd like to see:

1) a user-definable tempo tap button, so that I can assign any keyboard or midi key to it.
2) a floating box that does not disable normal operation, so that I can play the track and tap the tempo if I need to. In fact, this is something that bugs me about most of the menus... Do they HAVE to disable the entire operation while open?

Life would be just peachy if I had those..

+1, I would also like to see a better way of setting the tempo.
