This isn't what I'd call "big band". It sounds more like retro lounge groove music. That being said, I love it anyway! Great production and sound selection, fun composition. Well done all around!

Not quite the big band sound of the 1940's but it sound more like a Latinized version of orchestrated Jazz.
Having said that --- I love it.

I dig it! Spike Jones meets Nightmare Before Christmas! The horn lines reminds of Dragnet (the old television show from the 60's). Fun stuff. I want more. Rimshot

Yep its far from pure big band,I should of made it clear I was borrowing from big band and mixing it with other stuff :) It is fun yes, it was great to make !!!! Glad u enjoyed it, Kev

Glad u liked it.Its borrowed from big band but theres other elements / styles in it too mixed in,I should of made that clearer when I first posted.

Yep, that was a gas with many elements and textures galore, but very creative and moved right along from the big band era right into the 21st century. Very interesting sounds. Nice one. I just love creativity!! Having said that...

I'm a BIG fan of your music. This gave me a flashback of all the detective/cop shows from the 60's/70's. The mix/arrangement is just wonderful sounding on my end. I know I say this all the time about your music but I really here a Danny Elfman vibe. GREAT piece!
