Big Big Train tickets almost sold out.

BBT is playing in London on 29 and 30th september 2017

Tickets for Saturday 30th are sold out already and there is only a smattering of seats on Friday 29th. Typically I was away with limited internet access when they were announced on Thursday but I did manage to secure two today.

If you want to see this band that rarely plays live you had better be fast!

    Very Very Very nice.

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I fear they're rather odd fellows and don't really understand the nature of bees.  Pleasant though.

Dave Longdon writes about writing the song here http://soundemporium.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/telling-bees.html

Telling the bees probably one of their most accessable songs. He mentions elsewhere that he does not have a ptoblem expressing himself in 4/4 if the song demands it.

Interesting read, thanks for sharing.  I'm much more of a mystic..more in the Italian tradition. That news article was from Adams, Massachusetts.  I went to school right near there.  Adams believe it or not at one time had the highest paid public school teachers in the states.   :D:D

They have added a third show.

Following the sell-out of our gigs at Cadogan Hall, London, on Fri 29th and Sat 30th September 2017, we are pleased to announce that a third date has been added on Sun 1st October 2017. This will be a matinee performance starting at 2.00pm.

Ticket sales for the Sunday gig will open at 12:00 noon this  Friday (7th October 2016) on the Cadogan Hall website:
    https://secure.cadoganhall.com/event/big-big-train-2016

If you live outside the UK tickets will be held at the box office for collection on the day rather than posted to you.

If you have wheelchair or other access requirements and are thinking of coming to the Sunday performance, we advise that if you're not already a member you join the Cadogan Hall Access Scheme now rather than waiting until Friday:
    http://www.cadoganhall.com/your-visit/access-information/

    Best wishes,
Andy, Danny, Dave, David, Greg, Nick, Rachel & Rikard

A matenee show could be quite useful for those living outside London and wanting to avoid having an overnight stay.

whilst I really appreciate their amazing musicianship and composition, and love some of their stuff, it's just not quite rocky enough on the side of prog-rock for me.
I will be going to see Neal Morse Band in London in April though...http://www.livenation.co....d/london/2017-04-09/en
