Big Fish install Failure!

I'm having a problem installing the Big Fish loops.
It tells me : "Your installation of Big Fish - **** Loops did not complete, click here to continue.
I just wanted to try them, but it's not letting me at this point.

Mainly what I am wondering is if they are working on the server and putting a delay on things to maintain bandwidth usage or something along those lines?

I don't really use loops but I saw the option in command center and thought I'd give it a try.

Either way, I had multiple problems with Cakewalk Sonar in the past per my post, I have them all figured out now, and since doing so I have had ZERO problems using Sonar, in fact, it has worked beyond my expectations.

That being said, I just wanted to get across that I am not complaining, I was just curious as to why I get that message and what I might can do about it?

Cheers Everyone!

And you are saying this with "ONE" POST! There's something wrong with your reply also.

Nevermind, sorry. Somehow I got a virus and had to reinstall everything. All is well now. Sorry for the drama.

I am left to wonder just how much information was stolen from my PC during my usage of this software!

When I was doing the eZine I had access to all the analytics because I used it to create the Top 10 lists. It's stuff like what operating system you're using, how much RAM, whether you're 32-bit or 64-bit, CPU speed, which plug-ins get used the most, etc. No one is stealing your music. If you found it highly objectionable that Cakewalk wanted to know which version of Windows you use so they could figure out which OS version deserved the most attention from support, you could turn off analytics.

I've had the occasional "Did not complete." Most of the time it was AT&T, because I live 10,000 feet from the box and it's only guaranteed to 6,000 feet. If I disabled wi-fi on everything else, I could download. The rest of the time it was almost certainly due to being the servers being slammed too hard, which is not surprising given the number of SONAR users eligible for a 5.6 GB library. Download from your account, which gives other options.

The Big Fish Audio Loop content was packaged prematurely by accident. Yesterday we realized it wasn't set up the way we wanted, so we removed it from the SONAR product families that show up in Cakewalk Command Center.

No big conspiracy going on here. Just a guy like me removing some check-boxes in the midst of juggling lots of other tasks yesterday. I'm sorry if this caused a lot of confusion.

We will be re-issuing the content with the SONAR 2017.10 release arriving shortly.

This went from;
"ZERO problems using Sonar, in fact, it has worked beyond my expectations. "

Then only 3 hours later...
"NOT USING THIS SPYWARE GARBAGE CAKEWALK SONAR OR ANYTHING CAKEWALK CRAP ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!"

Im also confused, is it Command Center that is stealing your jingles + songs or the forum software ?
You can still use Sonar without Command center. Just download the installers and content from your account.

Hello Shah, the problem I encountered in this thread was because Cakewalk at the time rolled out the loops a little earlier and it showed up in command center for me at the time when they weren't meant to be on that version.

That being said, I do believe that Sonar is required to install the software, but don't take my word for it. Maybe someone else can chime in and inform you better.

You should always mention what Cakewalk software you are using and version if possible when asking question about updates and installs, just a bit of advice, and BTW LOL, I need to follow my own advice.

I can tell you that even though I am using Sonar Platinum that I have previous version of Cakewalk software I have purchased in Command Center, and one of them is MC7, so if I try and install the LOOPS for MC7 it tells me the same message that MC7 needs to be installed for those loops to be installed. I do not use loops at all anymore.

Either way, best of luck! I hope this helps and if it doesn't perhaps it will bump the thread to where someone more in the know can do so.
