Bigtime window refuses to cooperate.

When I want to view my big time window on my laptop, It totally replaces my console view. Ive tried undocking... etc.. what am I doing wrong? I just want it in a little box, but when ever i "X" it pout.. it comes right back replacing my console view. Tnx. WG
