Bin files ?

I have re-downloaded my X1 program onto a newer 64 bit laptop (an upgrade from 32) The download file "Part 2" unpacked as several consecutively #'d bin files - it has been a long time since I installed Sonar - what am I supposed to do with these - where do I put them? They don't just install or have a setup.exe file for them??

thanks !

Nothing. The exe file will sequentially load each as needed to install the full program and its support files. Just run the first file. The others will load automatically.

Among the bin file there should be an .exe file that will start the installation process. You probably need to download other parts as well. Part one of the download should contain instructions.

The setup.exe file is the last file unpacked, and all 4 parts need to be unpacked to the same folder (this is automatic).

In case your computer doesn't like doing the unpacking/install all at once (how X2 is), you can also use a program like 7zip to unpack them all first (to one common folder). This also helps if running the installer again (save that directory created and no need to unpack them again).

I was all right with bin files til I found out that's what the Brits call their trash can. Now I am not as big (of) a fan.
