Bip Bop - Paul McCartney

I have a new occupation - it's called being an "Artist"

My friends call me a stay at home "Trophy Husband"

and this is what Trophy Husbands do.....

a fun recording by Sir Paul from probably his worst album - Wings Wild Life

http://soundcloud.com/mooch4056/bip-bop-1  PS ... Paul's Worst album is better than my best .... so take it with a grain of salt Sir Paul (in case he 'reads this" )

you never know

It was well played and fun.  I'd like to hear more of the vocals, too. Good job, Mooch.

    Blah blah blah

I was thinking either My Home Town, Turn The Page or Little Pink Houses.

I don't know "blah blah blah". Is that one song or did each of these great artists do their own song called "blah"?

I actually seem to remember this song.  That's when I thought McCartney's career was on the wane.  This version may get him knighted again.

I remember this one well.  I like your version Mooch.

Yes, maybe not Sir Paul's best work, but I always appreciated that he did n't fear experimentation.  As you say Mooch, even his worst is still far better than my best.

Well, I would turn the station whenever that song came on.  You're right, one of his worst.  I listened to your whole song which is more than I ever did for McCartney.  Mike hit it on the head, kudos to McCartney for pushing the envelope his whole life.  I still don't like ths song.   Think he cares?  So, if I say you did it as good as Wings is that a compliment?  I hope so!  LOL

LOL ... You can say it was bad and I would be ok with it ... For one I am a not a vocalist ...two ... It was just a spur of the moment thing ... To record for fun

There is a demo of mecartney playing around with his children singing bip bop to them .....and they are laughing with him as he's singing it ..... That version is more fun than the one that ended up on Wild Lfe album

Plus I like the key better in that version

I'd never say it is bad.  Bad is not having the cojones to try it!  I think you did pretty darned good.

I don't know the original but I like this - very tongue in cheek. The recording quality is great
