BitBridge Errors on Sonar Start Up.

BitBridge Errors on Sonar Start Up.

Good Day Folks,
 
Sinse installing Sonar 8.5.the latest update i've been getting these two back to back error msg;
 
1. Transport::CreateUIWorker: Bitbridge.exe - system error ....the prog can't start MPGVOUT.dll is missing
 
2. same except - MCMPGDEC.dll is missing.
 
 
I get these now also when booting sonar 8 on the same machine. Sonar boots up fine after i click "OK" but i've never seen such msgs with Sonar start up.
 
I've had some nasty crashes and hangs with Sonar 8.5 just trying some of the newer sonar bundled plugs ...for now i'm using 8!

    I suspect you may have too broad a VST scan that is bringing in unrelated dll's that may not be needed or have the same name as other dll's in other scan folders.  MPGVOUT.dll is associated with Muvee Technology and in my case it shows up under program files/common files.  You could try removing Program Files/Common Files from your scan and do a rescan.  If you have a particular VST that isn't showing up from that  folder than chose it specifically and not the entire folder.

    thanks ...i'll have a look at that and limit the scan to DAW type plugs...

    This helped a lot! I was scanning a couple of out of date folders. Removed them and problem was solved. Thanks!
