Bitmap resources and VST's
I already posted about losing mys VST's, but now I found what it may be about: when trying to re-scan the plugins (still found in their folders, that are scanned) a message about the bitmap resources appears: Bitmap resource not found: C:\program Files\Cakewalk\z3T+\Resources\waveback.bmp Please verify the location of the Resources folder What is this about...

Have you checked to see if the file is really missing? Did you perhaps install z3ta+ in a non-default location?

It must have been in the named location, because until yesterday I used all the plugins and their presets, which then suddenly disappeared. After this, VST scanning keeps giving this message. I checked this path, and Cakewalk folder does not have a z3T+ folder (anymore?)...

Weird. Best bet is to reinstall SONAR, which will put the z3ta+ folder back. I'd also run a disk diagnostic against the drive to make sure it doesn't have a problem. Disappearing folders isn't a normal occurrence, and could be the result of disk corruption.

Yep, that did it - I reinstalled Sonar and got all the goods back! Ashamed to to say that I don't actually know what this zT3 and bitmap stuff is... Anyway, happy again and back with the project!

i was just dealing with this same issue last night, and it seems it happened due to the fact that i have the x64 version and the x86 version both installed (because Kore 2 is still 32 bit) and the bitmaps in the Resources folder exist in 64 bit folder, not in 32 bit folder . . . so i just copied and pasted and now it's fixed
