I've always liked this song, and you're version is quite good.  Though, I listened to both versions,  I didn't hear that much difference in the amount of reverb.  I love reverb, but the first version was drenched in it, and I don't remember the original song being so wet.  The second version is closer to the way I remember it, so I'll vote for that one.  I should make the effort to listen to the original just so I don't put my foot all the way in my mouth.  All in all, you did well.

    All the best,

Lynn...  appreciate the good word on it.  I agree the first version having too much verb.  The song imo is very difficult to sing/copy exactly like the original.  In the Verve original, there's something like 38 tracks in it.  I'm almost tempted to change it up a bit and make it my own for fun.  But when i do a cover i have a tendency to try to be true to the original.  We'll see i guess.  Thanks again.

Nice faithful rendition Pluto, both versions sound good to me. On balance I prefer the drier vocals, but only because I'm not keen on the short delay you used on the wetter version. Snare is pretty loud, I might back that off a bit.

    jamesg1213,

Good points, was thinking the same.  Will be revisiting the snare and verb at some point.  Thx for commenting.
