Blank ProChannel

I might be being mental but for some reason, suddenly, when I insert a stereo buss the related ProChannel is blank with no compressor,EQ,etc. I know for a fact it didn't used to be like this. I have inserted Stereo Busses with no problems for months. I can add the modules I need so I can build the prochannel up as it needs to be but it's a real pain to suddenly not have a default prochannel on the stereo busses. Anyone else getting this problem. Have I pressed something somewhere and erased the default prochannel set up for stereo busses? Thanks in advance.

Are you using X1 or X2?

I had this happen in X1, for no apparent reason.  When I posted about it nobody seemed to know anything about it, and several helpful people just posted along the lines of "Lucky you, I hate the ProChannel".

I don't use X1 any more, but I jut checked, and it's still doing it, but it does it on all tracks and busses.

I did save the blank ProChannel as a preset, so I could load it into X2 I guess, should I ever want a ProChannel without the EQ.  I can't imagine that I would, though.

So, I'm sorry that I can't offer you a solution or explanation, as I never found one.  I guess you could save a track template with the default ProChannel set up, and load that each time instead of inserting a track the normal way.

You can't remove the EQ, so why it's coming up totally blank is a mystery. It can't be anything you've done.

In X2 there is an option to "Save modules as Default", or something similar - I think this is accessed by right clicking anywhere in the PC UI

So set up one up the way you want then save as default.

Thanks guys. Yes I loaded in the modules I would normally use and saved it as a default and it seems to be ok now. What I might have done accidentally is saved a blank prochannel buss as a default. I'm not sure how I did that, if in fact I did that at all. It's nice to know in a way that I'm not the only person who has had it and maybe Cakewalk will take note it could be a weird random bug. I use X2 latest version by the way on Windows 7 SP1 Quad Core 16gb RAM.
