    Hi John,

You do such fantastic big productions. As a guitar player I really did enjoy this one a lot. My only comment, and it isn't a criticism, is that a few places I found I couldn't hear the guitar a much as I would have liked over the sound effects. But I am doing a quiet listen on headphones at the moment, so I will be cranking it up through my speakers later for some more listens.

    Great work as usual.

I agree that the lead guitar could come up a bit.

Wow! Such a wall of sound - I love it! Every note!

There were a couple of places where the low effects seemed to cause the overall level of everything else to drop (for example at 0:58), possibly a compression issue but then again it may have been artefact of streaming on a laptop?

    Cheers,
    Terry.

Terry, Thanks for the listen and glad you like this. Yeah, there are a couple of compression flaws where I added in some big drum hits, but not bad enough to have to go back and rework it at this time. Have to many other projects to work on for now. I may go back some time to the original project and find the track and reduce the volume so it doesn't affect the final mix. Can't get them all right, so close work good at times. I only upload 128 kbps songs on SoundClick. I don't have that problem on the original wav. file.

    Peace and blessings, John

Wow... that was knocked out... I didn't care for the Jet-sound effects... yet they were but a minor distraction from what was otherwise a brilliant production... You continue to impress...

Frank, Thanks for the listen and for the nice compliments. As for jet sounds, there aren't any jet sounds, there are a few wooshes going on maybe but no jets, as I have jet sounds in a different piece and know my jet sounds. I could bring down the wooshes a bit, but once I complete a song, it is usually what I am looking for, but will consider what you feel you heard and check it out. Appreciate your comments, as always.

I have come to regard you as a source of good productions and performances.  You have given me plenty to think about in my own productions, and I'm happy to tell you that this tune was fun to listen to.  Congratulations on being so prolific, and helping others to make the most of their projects.  Peace to you, as well.

Wow Lynn, thank you so very much for the wonderful compliment, I appreciate that very much. That is what the forum is suppose to be all about, musicians helping musicians to be better. When I first came to the forum I was the worst of the worst, but through listening to others and taking good advice and much reading, study and buying good equipment, samples, loops and hard work, I have been able to put together many pretty good productions together. So, it does pay to work together and listen and learn. Thank you again for such kind words.

Peace be with you and many blessings, John

    John,

Sounds really good.  Like the guitar playing a lot and the horns are a nice touch.   There are a couple crashes here and there that were a bit loud, but stellar production.

HA! A blast from the grassed, and a blast in the past? What are the odds?

I liked this one more than most from you (that's not a dis) I liked that it felt more thematic? It had a definitive Pop-Rock vibe that flowed nicely and I could follow and move with.

And I hope you don't take this the wrong way? But I really enjoyed your organ... (Bless me father for I have sinned!)

Rocking tune, my favorite so far from you.

    Hi John,

I cranked it up and listened a few times through my speakers. Sounds big and clear. I think it probably sounds the way you like it and by that I mean it has a lot of energy and drive (to me).

    Guitars sound great.

    All the best,

Robbie, Robbie, Robbie, Look what you have gone and done now, A blast from the grassed!! WOW!! Hey, thanks for the listen and the compliment. I'm glad you enjoyed this one, I used it for the video on my music page in SoundClick, with some of my art work. It is all loops and samples that I weaved together because my fingers were sore from playing the guitar. About 6 tracks to this one and mastered with Izotope Ozone 5. It's fun playing with all this software I have and so I try and do it the best I can. Thanks again for the listen. Keep the faith.

Shawn, Thanks for listening and for the compliment. I'm not real big on pride, but humble myself to sharing a gift I have been given. In return I give and share and charge nothing for my music arrangements. I'm getting old now and for me it's time to give back. I just enjoy what I do and hope others will enjoy the results. But, thank you for your thoughts.

Cool riff rock. I like the horn staccato  hits. On the ear buds it sounds pretty big.

I agree the guitar could come up more..... there's never enough guitar.....

very well done and mixed nicely too.

Herb, Thanks for listening and glad you enjoyed the mix and the horns. I will someday bring the guitars up, but have to many other things brewing before I can get back to this one. Their not to bad in the mix, but could come up some, so someday when I find time I'll consider the suggestions form all.

    Peace and blessings, John

After having read through all these posts again, I'd just like to thank each and everyone for taking their time in sharing their thoughts. I know that making each production is always lots of work for each and everyone of us. Some people are new to this and I only hope they will continue to strive forward and learn all they can about their software, and how to use it. There is so much out there we can sometimes get confused and give up. Most software today isn't really that complicated, but when you pay attention and use it right it will always make a difference in your production work.

Thanks again to everyone for listening and for your wonderful comments. I take each and everyone of them to heart, as I to am always learning.

Peace and blessings to you all, John
