Blue 1-Fountain

Well Jimmy or Rimshot complained about my last post, and said he wanted more of my crazy film art...this is for you Jimmy.

It's actually proper music, the key is D Flat.  The sounds are all temporal ;) or filmed on location, and I use these to create the chords heard throughout the piece.  And yes Jimmy...its a new piece, I filmed the video at the end of last year, and the audio was done yesterday.

Hey David, I'm not sure which effect you mean?  You see it could be how the granular synthesizer is reacting with the temporal audio, or location audio.  You see the fountain you see in the video creates the synth sounds and in fact the whole piece is anchored by the location/field/temporal audio recording.  Whacky Phd stuff I know!!

There is some delay and flange or chorus on the granular synth, that I've switched on, but I don't think it's this.  I think it's how the whole piece interacts with all the components, including the chords and arpegiator.  I'm sorry I can't be more specific.

Thanks for listening, I needed a positive remark, confidence has taken a battering with work due to uni not being very supportive.
