Blue Monday

I read a short article online today.
Today is officially Blue Monday - the most miserable day of the year.
A combination of Arctic temperatures, Christmas debt and the next pay day feeling like it's months away leaves many of us depressed and unable to face work
The Chargers lost yesterday by making silly mistakes.  Definitely Blue Monday here.

I thought this was MLK day?!

I didn't watch the Chargers game, but I watched the Cowboys get embarrassed by the Vikings.  well...I watched between napping anyway.

    Beag,

I know what this napping you speak of is and I'm going to get me some.

    Today for sure.

    And no, I'm not blue.

    I just like naps.

I'm a Broncos fan, so I was very happy to see the Jets beat the Chargers. Didn't expect it though.

I'd like to see Favre win a superbowl to end his career, finally.

I was sick twice in the night last night, so didn't risk going into work.  Instead I spent several hours at the DAW and playing with EZDrummer which arrived in the post this morning.

Don't you US of A people have a bank holiday today anyway?

Not bad as far as Monday's go.

Yes, MLK day - and it's a "bank holiday" meaning my wife is off from work.  but I'm not!

It is a national holiday, but our plant doesn't pay us for several of the "lesser" holidays.  in return, they close the plant down between Christmas Eve and New Years' Day and we get paid for all of that time.  it's a trade off that I think is just fine.

blue monday.. the biggest selling EP on Vinyl... only problem was for every copy sold it cost factory records a 10p loss due to the printing on it. (thats the 15th time I've mentioned that on here :) )

but yer it has been a blue monday.. I went to the bank to see my financial advisor.. he was in pain, back pain.. and couldn't care less about getting me to sign up for more investments.

Another branch + head office, treated me badly  = my money goes elsewhere... oddly they treat another family member who has a LOT more money like royalty.. go figure.

So I went to the new bank to see a clueless financial advisor there... and they wanna protect banks regardless of their own mess ups!??! after todays display it really made me think WHY..

reminds me I have a limited edition DP limited / numbered record somewhere that I should sell.

if you tell me you have any of the limited edition "enforcers" picture discs.. then I might think, Steve listened to that ..cool
