I never heard the original, but this sounds good! And if you had fun with it, that's even better!

Hey Mitch - this is a good start. Your vocals have a good foundation, you would want to work on the lead (clean it up a little) and I'm looking for more cutting, edgy lead tone, but this will depend on what you have available to run through. I don't expect it to sound like Kenny's, which is an awesome sound, but less middy and more thicker - if that makes sense?

I can see why you had fun with this song, great song to play.

Vox sounded clean, the acoustic guitar sounds good..... The bass was kinda low, but sounded OK.

the snare sounds like it's in a hole or something... (not natural at all) ....the guitar lead had a similar sound... both need some work to get a more natural sound in the mix.

Hey, Mitch! Can tell you had fun with this!! The performances are good. The mix is kind of thin sounding, especially compared to the original which has such a nice full drum/bass groove. I would say the vocals are better in the verses than the choruses. I think some tweaks on the mix can make even better, but nice job!
