Wow! I love it! Nice feel for the style. It would sound nice with a standup bass and light drums coming in after the first section.

That was EXCELLENT.  If you don't mind me asking how many tracks did this take.  Sounds great on my end.  KUDOS!

Marvellous! If asked I'd have said I wasn't a fan of this style of music... but your Jazz-Manouche tracks have something about them that keep me listening and appreciating it.

    Great job Rik.

    Cheers,
    Terry.

Hi Mike, thanks a lot, also to the lovely Mrs. : )

Hi Scott, thanks, not a fan of drums, double bass would be nice.

Hi Kev, thanks, this is one rhythm track that I doubled and panned hard left and right, one track delayed a bit, and one track for the lead. Each track has mic and DI combined.

    Hi Lynn,thanks,hope he's smiling at me ; )

    Hi Biabdude, thanks.

Hi Terry, thanks, it can be an aquired taste, glad you appreciate this ; )

It definitely has a django vibe on the rhythm track. The lead track did have a django tone however technically it has a long way to go to come close. There were too many repeats of the same lick which wasn't even close to django. The song overall wasn't bad and was nice to listen to.

Good effort. I think the bass needs to walk away from the low note of the guitar so we can really hear that bass. Would you like me to give it a shot?

Very nice indeed.  You really captured the Django touch.  Great playing but I really liked that rhythm.  I never realized what a following Django had not only in Europe and North America but in countries such as Japan.
    Excellent stuff!!

Hi Freddy, thanks, just recently started playing "pompe manouche" , gypsy rhythm, fun to do : ).   I guess it's universal music. Django's music always cheers me up ,anyway.

resplendent.  this would have been awesome in Woody Allen's film Sweet&Lowdown as Django, unlike Emmet Ray, was one of the only European jazz guys to gain prominence in America.

Hi Daren, thanks, Django's only American tour was a bit of a disaster , glad he's still remembered. I think there's a Steve Martin movie with Django's music as the soundtrack.
