    He was on American Idol (last season?) on Motown Night. He looked in bad shape then.

    Holy shvt....last Monday I (again) watched the Funk Brothers/Motown special. Almost 2 hours IIRC and quite a good tribute to them. I grew up with Motown music and it was an incredible music era, to say the least. RIP. Carry on...

    RIParadise..great player man..even after Motown left Detroit he went on to Philly and did some great work that i admire alot.
