Lab test beagles rescued from a lab in Texas.  Sad, but heart-warming too.

Well, the famous town in Oregon has already been mentioned... I did hear that it was in process of becoming a sister city to Dull, Scotland.  Seems like that would be a good pairing.
 
Another favorite Oregon town is Drain.
