X1 : working
X3 : not working the same

you're saying this is the way it's supposed to work ? if so , a pure drawback !!! if it was implemented like this in X1 this was for a reason ....am i missing something or a new way to do it ?

No your not missing something. There was a thread about this very thing. CJ found out about it and started a thread to express his displeasure (and said pretty much the same thing your saying) and someone from CW chimed in and said it is now intended to be this way due to fractional scrolling that CW has want to implement for a looonng time. I'll find the thread and post a link.

Here's the link to that thread:

it just feels as if a horse is being beaten here somehow, im out of this thread.

what you see as:

X1 : working
X3 : not working the same

I see as:

X1: a version you liked
X3: a version you don't like

features change, some things people like and some things people don't,

good luck.

Question of subjectivity ....but i'm pretty curious to hear from a guyz wanting to see a fraction of the track and have to double click again instead of just scrolling and keeping the zoom persistaent ...really ....

Just to update some : insert mashine from scratch all stereo out (no template) is doing 3 sec !!!

so as my template contains buses assignation and plugins ...i suspect X3 to deal with plugins or buses , way slower than X1

This might be simply the PC also that is heavier ...can say ....hope bakers will investigate .....

EDIT : ok trying to isolate the issue : Buses and plugins not the culprite as i rease them and created a simple template .....

ok i thought it was the icons but just the same multi instrument inserted from browser : 3sec and  from template : 55 sec so saved in template is making the insertion super slow , conclusion :

BAKERS CHECK TEMPLATES  !!!!

Was the template made with X3? If not there may be some conversion going on while loading the old template.
