Bounce Midi Track (Sonar 2015)

Can someone give me a heads up on how to render a midi instrument to Audio Track in 2015.
I right click on Midi Part and click "Bounce to Clip(s)" then nothing seems to happen?
Is the clip stored somewhere or do I have it all "back the front"?

Bounce to Clip(s) is for rendering non-destructive edits/processing permanent and merging separate clips of the same type together - whether audio or MIDI. What you are wanting to do is render the output of a soft synth being driven by a MIDI clip. This is done by Tracks > Bounce to Track(s) with both the MIDI and synth audio output tracks selected (assuming they're separate and not combined as a Simple Instrument track). Or you can use the Freeze functionality to generate an audio clip in place in the synth track.

Thanks brundlefly
That worked like a charm.
I was searching for options up on the "menu bar" couldn't see the "Tracks Option", obviously new to Sonar (trying to transition from Cubase).
Really appreciate the help.

Glad to help. Having tried some other DAWs, I know how challenging it can be to navigate a new one.

If it is combined in a simple track is there a way to bounce to track to get just the audio? I have the same question for kontack instruments, I have the audio in a separate track that is using the input from the midi and that makes it a simple track. I can freeze the audio and see the wave files but I need the audio so I can split my rim shot from my snare. Any suggestions welcome

If I understand, what you are asking for, is to keep the original synth track and work only with the audio.
Nothing of difficult. Drag and drop the audio freezed into a new audio track while holding ctrl key: so you will copy your synth audio track and keep the original one for archive (once done this, you will want to unfreeze and keep only the original midi file)... Hope I understood your question.
