Bounce Track don't work (Music Creator 7)
Hello When I try to pass the midi to audio through the bounce track is a track formed with two fine lines and muted. Does anyone know what can it be? Thanks

Welcome to the forum. What are you using to make the sounds of the MIDI? If you're using an external synthesizer keyboard, you can't bounce that. If you're using the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth, you can't bounce that. If you're using a software synthesizer, are you selecting both the MIDI track and the synth audio track before bouncing?

Instead of using the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth use the bundled TTS-1 soft synth. If the project is all MIDI, it may be easiest to: Save the project as a MIDI file instead of a Music Creator project Go into Preferences > MIDI > Devices and uncheck the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth Open the MIDI file This will automatically map the MIDI tracks to TTS-1. Make sure to save this as a Music Creator project so the audio tracks will be saved. The other way is to insert TTS-1 into the project. Change the MIDI track outputs to TTS-1 and add up to 4 audio tracks per TTS-1 instance to play the audio output of TTS-1. A single instance of TTS-1 can play up to 16 MIDI tracks over 4 audio tracks. Or to keep it simple use one instance of TTS-1 for each MIDI track, routing each instance of TTS-1 to an audio track, if the project is small enough.

In the future instead of just adding a MIDI track to a project insert a synth. TTS-1 is a GM synth which works well as a software replacement for the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth but MC comes with several others which you may like better.

It turns out that the drums was all done in MIDI. Only time I'll export the MIDI drum, seed the audio tracks is that they are exported, the MIDI track will not. I saw in the MC7 online manual that if I used the "bounce to track" I could save the MIDI track in audio format and export to get there. One of my problems is to use the TTS-1. Literally do not know !!! kkkk ... Could you explain to me step by step who spoke up? I would be very grateful to you. Thanks ** sorry my english ... I use google translator ...

fsbgo "If the project is all MIDI, it may be easiest to: Save the project as a MIDI file instead of a Music Creator project Go into Preferences > MIDI > Devices and uncheck the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth Open the MIDI file" >>> nothing happened Is it possible there is another MIDI output device defined? TTS-1 will automatically load when a MIDI file is opened if there are no MIDI output devices defined. Note, this only works with MIDI files. If the file is a Music Creator project, you have to either save it as a MIDI file or manually insert the synth. Since you are working with a drum track you have options other than TTS-1. SI-Drums is a dedicated drum synth. Either way, you never need to bounce MIDI to audio before exporting the final mix but you may. Here is a video introduction to Softsynths and MIDI https://youtu.be/MLeHAno9GBY and Tutorial #4 http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Music%20Creator%207&language=3&help=Tutorial4.1.html should also help you understand how to work with MIDI in MC7.

ok, thanks for the tips ... but there's something ... on my computer Cakewalk TTS-1 appears as a component in DirectX and not as in the video, with elements linked to it. This way I do not have to follow the tutorial. What can I do for Cakewalk TTS-1 appear as the video? For example, the SI-Drum Kit is linked to a folder called VST2 and Cakewalk TTS-1 to DiretcX folder.

VST and DirectX are plug-in formats. The plug-ins work the same in the DAW. TTS-1 has always been a DirectX plug-in. The video was made using MC6 which displays plug-ins a little differently than MC7. Notice TTS-1 is above a dashed line. That line separates the plug-in formats. Above the line is the DirectX TTS-1, below the line are the VST synths. In MC7, Cakewalk went with a folder style layout. There is no difference in the plug-ins or how they work between MC6 and MC7.
