Bounce a midi track to record audio?

I saw a youtube video earlier today which described how to bounce a midi track to an audio track, i.e, recording it. For the life of me, I cannot now find that video. Would some kind soul provide a link or a short description of what needs to be done?

    Sorry. I figured it out: I need to use a soft synth when making a bounce. My bad.
